Information about The Weather in Roatan, Bay Islands

Believe it or not, there are seasons on Roatan. During the dry season, weather is typically sunny, hot and humid. During Rainy season, there can be several downpours during the day, beginning and ending abruptly.

The "summer" rainy season is usually short-lived and happens during June and July, during which the temperatures typically fairly hot. The winter rainy season is much cooler, usually beginning in October and drying out in February. Strong winds often accompany the rain and cooler weather, and a light jacket may be necessary during this time. Light rain gear is a good idea during the rainy season.
